He compared his bowling skills to the Special Olympics ... opps. Well, I think Pres. Obama has had a little bit of a rocky start, but I'm not losing faith in him. Everyone puts their foot in their mouth at one point or another. He immediately apologized and did damage control.
I am also trying to keep in mind the fact that George W. Bush left behind a huge mess for him to clean up. It is going to take some time to clean that up. It seems like for a while, people thought Barack Obama was like a God send or something, which he's not. I voted for him, I support him, and I like him, but even he makes mistakes.
People set outrageous expectations for him because so many people thought that anything would be better than Bush. Give it some time, I have faith he'll clean up the mess. And as far as the Special Olympics joke goes, we've all said stupid stuff we didn't mean, he just said it on national television. Give him a break.
