catholic church has tricks

So I was born and raised catholic. I went to a church every Sunday and went to catholic school. About half of the teachers in my elementary school were nuns and as far as I know, once you sign on for that gig, there's no going back.

In West Sussex, a Benedictine monastery is letting people take what are similar to "test runs" before taking their full vows into the catholic church. Personally, I think this is an extremely bad idea. I realize that the numbers of priests and nuns going into the monastery are going down, but this sacrament is something you don't just take a "test run."

Don't get me wrong, I have NO intention of joining, but I do think this is a bad idea to allow quick trial runs. It's a holy sacrament, and it should not be taken lightly.
